The food it's really really good over here, we usually come here to get kubideh platters it's so good, flavorful and very juicy nor dry at all like other places. Who ever makes marinates good job keeping the taste same But definitely needs some type of music or something inside is super super quite
I definitely do not regret coming to this place. The food was incredible. It's definitely a hole in the wall, but it rivals any other Sultani I've ever had.
The food is phenomenal as always! Today was my first time dining inside the restaurant, which I had previously thought was just a kitchen or rarely open. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the inside is. It makes sense now, as I had lived by the original location and now live near this second one. It's been wonderful to experience the same great food at a more convenient spot. Thank you for the consistently amazing meals and for making my dining experience so enjoyable!
The side of onions and herbs served was noticeably stale and lacked freshness. It was disappointing to receive something that didn't meet the usual quality standards.
Food: 5/5 We have tried the Beef Koobideh and Chicken Boti. They both are excellent. My mom tried Egg Plant and that is great as well. Service: 5/5 Have been to Stone Stew a few times; Service has always been excellent. Love the bread and butter that is served before food arrives. Ambiance: Good I don't understand what the paintings in the restaurant mean. But, the seatings are decent.
Amazing food! I loved coming here as a tourist --not once, but TWICE in the span of five days-- in San Jose. Their original dizzi sangi (دیزی سنگی) is fantastic -- came in piping hot from the kitchen, and the meat and potatoes and the chickpeas tasted fresh and delectable. Service was fast and friendly! I also appreciated the casual but cozy interior decor of the restaurant, especially their traditionally styled doors. My only suggestion would be that they could play traditional Persian music instead of English songs! All in all, loved this place! A hidden gem!
I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this place! We came here on a monday lunch and it was completely empty until the end. We were immediately seated and handed water, warm lavash and butter. We ordered the Torghabeh Special dish for 2 people and the portion was huge! I think this portion is big enough for 4 people! The chicken thigh was the best chicken thigh kebab i've ever had. It was super juicy and flavorful. The koobideh was also super juicy and had really strong flavor that complimented the fluffy hot rice well. Out of the three meats, my least favorite was the beef filet, which is usually my favorite! Not that it was bad, it was really good! it's just that the other meats tasted sooo good it really outshined the beef filet. I look forward to coming back and with more people to try more foods! Highly recommend!
